Under these economic conditions, new crane and remote head suppliers are appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing just as quickly. Unfortunately, this results in products that can't be supported down the road, as parts become unavailable, tech support is unreachable, and the warranty is essentially meaningless. When in doubt, ask the manufacturer questions: "How long have you been in business?" "Where is your factory?" "Do you actually manufacture your own heads?" "Can you repair and support your product in the future?" We keep seeing big claims about new products from little-known companies with no history in motion control or advanced mechanical design. Although VariZoom receives requests to service off-brand units, we can't support or modify products we didn't create. On the other hand, replacement parts are instantly available for any MC100 head purchased in the last decade, thanks to our long-running design and continuous manufacturing process. This is the answer for those who love all of the options of the SnapCrane, but simply can't spend the money at this time. The Quick Jib gives you many of the features of the Snap Crane at a more affordable price. With the Quick Jib you get an economical, but secure captive clamp system for extending the jib, along with lanyard-attached stainless aircraft pins for quick assembly. The QuickJib is a professional, tool-free jib arm that assembles rapidly and safely. The QuickJib, like all of our products, was designed for years of trouble-free, reliable operation in the field. 
Brake System - Brake system utilizes a heavy-duty plate that is securely mounted to the pivot section. Brake compression system is built into the left stator of the pan/tilt base and designed to add significant variable drag, but forgiving enough to slide under extreme force that could otherwise topple a locking-brake jib system.
Tilting Mechanisms - Camera platform and tilt base join to the jib arm with stainless aircraft pins that insert through sealed radial ball bearings at the tilt base and high-performance sleeve bearings at the camera platform, resulting in silent, smooth motion. The camera platform also has a built-in spirit level for quick reference and adjustment.

Zero Gravity Head - The Zero Gravity Head is the only manual pan and tilt head that allows users to do a complete 360 degree pan and tilt. Shooting directly overhead manually with a crane is only possible with the Zero Gravity Head. No other crane FX handle allows for the same versatility and balance that you get with the Zero Gravity Head. Other systems become top-heavy when rolled over the center of balance. Only the Zero Gravity Head allows the camera to be centered and balanced so it can hold any position.
