NEW FlowTech Gimbal - Classic design has been improved with a detachable, ergonomically-sloped extension grip for improved handling and the ability to add a zoom control. Precision 3-axis gimbal delivers consistent fluid motion with six sets of bearings. The lightweight, rugged gimbal ties the system together fluidly and effortlessly.

NEW Form-Fit Ultra Rigid Vest - This new improved vest includes a contoured chest pad, torso-gripping 4-point buckle system, 2-stage reversible arm bridge, and height-adjustable chest plate. The lightweight, cool vest hugs and supports the upper body, making it possible to fly heavy cameras for extended periods.

Heavy-Duty Dual Arm - The Black Hawk's reinforced, dual-dynamic arm system is as refined as it is robust. Adjustable over a broad range, it can bear cameras 10-25 pounds swiftly and smoothly and offers up to 38" of vertical travel. Twenty-four precision bearings and four beefy springs ensure silent, zero-failure performance. The 2-stage reversible arm bridge allows left or right orientation and 4" up/down positioning.

Precision Gear Drive Stage - Micro-adjustable gear drive stage enables extremely precise tuning of horizontal balance. Included balancing plate aids greatly in setup when paired with a C-stand. Quick-release dovetail camera plate allows rapid setup and breakdown in the field.

Power, Vision, Balance - At the base of the sled, a 7" 16:9 color monitor serves as a large external viewfinder. Dual Anton Bauer mounts power the monitor (and the camera, if you wish) through internal wiring (V-lock mounts available on request). The monitor and batteries also serve as counterweight for vertical balance. Monitor and battery positions can be adjusted for fine-tuning.

Custom Rolling Case - A form-cut foam insert protects and secures the system components inside, while the wheeled case with telescoping handle ensures effortless transport. Padded carry pouches hold the toolkit, cables, monitor w/ remote, and training DVD.

Training DVD - VariZoom stabilizers take some time to master, but the included training DVD takes you through the setup and operation step-by-step with a professional FlowCam operator.

Options - The Black Hawk comes standard with dual Anton Bauer Mounts and a combination NTSC/PAL (via toggle switch) monitor. If you need V-lock mounts, no monitor at all, or have any other special requests, then give us a call and we'll be glad to discuss your needs. Because these units are hand crafted and assembled, the options are wide open.
