will this act as a replacement plate for the FlowPod? I ask because it lists dimensions as 8x6x4, and the FlowPod has dimensions of 2 inches wide

Yes, if your plate looked similar, it is the same (those dimensions are for the box). There’s a very old version of the FlowPod that had a different plate, but it looked different and was silver. If you’re was/is black, then it is the same as the MediaRig plate.
